In 2023, I founded Average Extraordinaires, aiming to revolutionize visual branding in extreme sports. Our partnership with professional surfers Nathan Florence and Koa Rothman for their surfing podcast's graphics was the first endeavor for this vision.

We presented them with three distinct concepts. We collaborated closely with Nathan and Koa to select a design that embraced the sport's edgy, countercultural ethos. They resonated best with our black, white and pink option which we thought was the winner as well. Despite its raw aesthetic, our approach was meticulously calculated, with a strong hierarchy and grid layout ensuring visual coherence.

The resulting graphics, characterized by textured layers and a bold color palette, resonated with audiences, setting Nathan and Koa's brand apart in the surfing world. Below is the full graphics package provided along with the initial two other concepts presented to the team.
