Twitch x Peacock - The Continental
The new peacock series "The Continental" premiered Sept. 22 2023. To promote the release of the show our team was awarded the opportunity to create the graphics for a special gaming livestream where top streamers would play the John Wick video game.
Execution
While appearing to be a chain of luxury hotels for normal guests, The Continental also
serve as a neutral sanctuary for hitmen, assassins and other members of the criminal underworld and prohibits killing of any kind. This theme needed to be reflected in the visual approach for game play. Given scene freeze frames and lighting guides from the team at Peacock, I created the concepts for each of the screens that would appear during the stream. Needless to say, the viewers were welcomed as new guests into the Continental experience.

Starting Soon Screen
Concept:
An entrance into gameplay. Your floor awaits you.
New Challenge Board
Concept:
The challenge board replicates the switch board from the series while the desk brings in a message of your new challenge via the message bottle shoot also featured in the film
Game Suspended Screen
Concept:
You're brought back to the main lobby while gameplay is being prepared. This screen also serves for technical difficulties.
Video Play boxes
Concept:
These video game play boxes are for replays and announcements during the stream. Both are emulated concepts from the film replicating the switchboard and filigree of the doors of the hotel.
Stream End Screen
Concept:
As the stream ends, your mission is complete. You may leave the hotel and go on your next venture in the hell-scape of 1970s New York City.
